Which translation does it use?
The New Living Translation, which needs a connection. The Berean Standard Bible is bundled in the app and works offline. You can switch between them in Settings.
Do I need an account?
No. There's no sign-up. Everything lives on your phone.
How do I cancel a subscription?
iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Embark Bible → Cancel. You keep access until the period ends.
I paid but don't have Premium.
Open the subscription screen and tap Restore Purchases.
How do I start over?
Settings → Start over. This erases your journal, garden, streak and highlights, and cannot be undone.
Why does it ask for the microphone?
So you can speak your journal entries instead of typing.
Audio is never recorded or stored — it's transcribed by Apple and the text is saved on your device. You can always type instead.
